Leftovers can, and should be, a part of your weight loss strategy. When you cook a healthy meal (which you need to be doing regularly), make another portion for the next day’s lunch. So for instance, if you are roasting a chicken, put some aside and make chicken salad for the next day’s lunch. Also this method knocks off preparation for two meals at once.
